Participants will explore math tools that can benefit students with and without disabilities in inclusive classroom settings. Using these tools, teachers can provide multiple means of representation, expression, and engagement in alignment with Universal Design for Learning guidelines. Instructional and assistive technology tools will be explored in math. Assistive Technology devices will range in complexity from low-tech to high-tech tools.

Learning Ally, Bookshare, and PAR (2 points)

Participants will learn what Learning Ally, Bookshare, and PAR are, how to access them, determine how to assign and enroll qualifying students in Learning Ally and Bookshare, how to assign books in Bookshare and Learning Ally, and how to assess students with the Protocol for Accommodations in Reading to make appropriate reading support decisions. Participants will be required to create an action plan as the second hour of training with student data to receive credit for the course.
